Press Release: Day 2

TWO EAGLES WITH 120 BIRDIES & STILL COUNTING. .

The only thing that was better than the weather was the golf!  12 matches, 24 women, close to 36 holes resulted in 4 semi-finalists heading into the final day of the Illinois State Women’s Amateur Championship.  Holes were won and holes were lost, but sportsmanship abounded. 

Progressing to the final day are: 

Grace Curran from New Lenox

Megan Furtney from St. Charles

Gracie Piar from East Alton

Mackenzie Hahn from Spring Grove

Captain Marquette along with Golden Gophers, Badgers, and Blue Devils represent the remaining field.
